Pasadena Showcase House of Design Empty House Party

Nearly 400 design enthusiasts and patrons of the arts attended the debut of the 56^th Pasadena Showcase House of Design annual Empty House Party on Friday, January 17. Held at the Locke House in Arcadia, guests enjoyed a preview of the property before it begins its transformation into the magnificent Showcase House. Throughout the evening, guests met with designers and glimpsed the various design concepts while enjoying delectable culinary offerings from Cynthia Brooks Distinctive Catering.

The soiree, chaired by Dana Marevich and Lynn Mehl, allowed guests and media a sneak peak of the Federal-country-style, 6,700-square-foot estate designed by Hollywood’s society architect Gerard R. Colcord. In the months to follow, 21 design firms will update the Locke Home into an elegant residence for modern times.
