8th Annual Coats for Casa Pacifica

The 8th Annual Coats for Casa Pacifica charity event on Saturday, January 13 was Casa Pacifica’s most successful event yet, collecting more clothing donations than ever before. All winter, clothing was donated to the crisis-care and residential treatment facility for abused, neglected, or at-risk children in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.

The clothing drive brought over 30 tons of faux snow to Three Springs Park in Westlake Village, where children and parents alike were invited to play. In addition, the drive featured arts and crafts, a community raffle, and complimentary coffee and smoothies.

This year’s clothing drive attracted the attention of the Honda Help Team, which showed up with $2,000 worth of new winter clothes and 14 volunteers for the day. Lydia Gable Realty Group with Compass and Rick Winters of Winters Financial Group, Inc., made this fun-filled day possible, hosting it for the eighth time.
