Pasadena Showcase House of Design: Empty House

The annual Empty House Party of the Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts (PSHA) attracted almost 450 design enthusiasts and patrons of the arts on Friday, January 19. Held at a 1915 Mediterranean-style estate located in Altadena, the event marked the debut of the 54th Pasadena Showcase House of Design. With a light supper provided, guests explored the house and got an insight into what its makeover will entail.

PSHA is an all-volunteer nonprofit California corporation whose members donate their time and talents to produce the annual Pasadena Showcase House of Design. Founded in 1948 and formerly known as the Pasadena Junior Philharmonic Committee, they adopted the Pasadena Showcase House of Design at their annual benefit in 1965. It is one of the oldest, largest, and most successful house and garden tours in the nation.

The 2018 Pasadena Showcase House of Design, beginning April 22 through May 20, will be their 54th Showcase House. For more information or to purchase tickets, please visit pasadenashowcase.org.
