Topanga Fiddle Festival
July 3, 2017
A huge crowd got their bluegrass fix on May 21 when thousands of musicians and fans descended on Paramount Ranch’s famous Western Town in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains. The most popular attractions seemed to be the main stage acts: Hot October, Conjunto Jardin, and Rose’s Pawn Shop, while The Hallow Trees had them rockin’ in the Eucalyptus Grove.
The kids were busy making paper-plate banjos and other crafts while the adults danced and watched nonstop entertainment from the likes of The Urban Gypsies, Mountain & the Moon, and the Kelly Marie Martin band. But the acoustical instrumental jammin’ seemed to put more smiles on faces than anything else on Sunday!
