National Charity League Promenade Tea

On Saturday, May 12, the National Charity League, San Fernando Valley Chapter, held its annual Promenade Tea at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village. It was an afternoon designed to celebrate this mother/daughter organization that focuses on its three pillars: community service, leadership development, and cultural experiences.

The theme this year was “Everything Grows with Love,” as families came together to recognize the accomplishments of mothers and daughters while awarding the daughters for their exemplary service within our community.

The highlights included the 10th grade Modelette program designed to teach young ladies how to stand tall with confidence in a public setting while modeling clothes from Val Surf and Frenzy Boutique. The event also celebrated the 12th grade seniors, who successfully completed the NCL experience, marking the start of the 53rd debutante season.
