Cancer Support Community Evening of Hope Gala

Saturday, April 27, was an evening of celebration for the Cancer Support Community Valley/Ventura/Santa Barbara (CSCVVSB) as many members of the community gathered at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village.  An awards presentation emceed by father-son celebrity duo James Derren and Jim Moret recognized Holly Spiegel with the Celebration of Hope Award. CSCVVSB board member Laurie Peterson received the Celebration of Life Award. Dr. Timothy O’Connor, chairman of the St. John’s Regional Medical Center Cancer Program, received the Celebration of Excellence Award.

In addition to the awards presentation, guests enjoyed a cocktail reception with live entertainment, dinner, live and silent auctions, entertainment, and dancing. Proceeds from the evening will fund CSCVVSB’s professional programs of support and education for adults and children affected by cancer. For more information, visit cancersupportvvsb.org.
