17th Annual Oaks Christian Dinner Gala

Over 800 Oaks Christian School (OCS) guests gathered to celebrate the 17^th Annual Gala Dinner Auction on April 6, setting a historic attendance record for the event, returning for the second year to the Reagan Library in Simi Valley. This year’s event was especially prestigious with George W. Bush, 43^rd President of the United States, and First Lady Laura Bush attending as special guests.

The evening’s festivities began with a silent auction and a collection of performances from the OC Voices a cappella group and OCS parent Paul Anka and a premier of the “Mark This Moment” video. The Bushes took the stage for a wide-ranging conversation, which was the highlight of the gala. The evening culminated in a live auction with amazing prizes, and the highest bid of the evening went to “Barrett,” an 8-week-old golden doodle.
