2021 Chamber Installation

The Calabasas Chamber hosted the 2021 Chamber of Commerce Board Installation Gala on Friday, February 5. The theme of the event was “Eyes on the Horizon,” inspired by the words of Maya Angelou, who wrote: “The horizon leans forward, offering you space to place new steps of change.” The 2021 Installation Gala looked much different from years past as it was hosted virtually—but a success nonetheless as a result of the tireless efforts of Chamber President/CEO Bridget Karl.

Master of Ceremonies Steve Brevidoro introduced the dignitaries and sponsors for the event and the Honorable Mayor James Bozajian had the honors of installing the 2021 board of directors, including Chairman of the Board Mike McNutt, Mark Levinson, Iris Stone, Steven Weiss, Laurence Goldman, Raychel Harrison, Mary Atherton, Mark Miller, Bonnie Mulholland, Gina Lapiner, Maria Primushko, Jake Demirchyan, Jake King, and Mike Pasahai.

The honorary “Spirit of Calabasas Award” was presented to Alicia Weintraub for her leadership as Mayor of Calabasas in 2020. The award was presented by Bridget Karl, Mike McNutt, Mayor Bozajian, and former Mayor Fred Gaines. Mark Levinson, immediate past chairman, awarded the Chairman’s Award to Steven Weiss for his exemplary volunteer efforts during the past year. Not pictured: Jake King and Mary Atherton.
