On March 10, Paw Works hosted its 4th Annual Ties & Tails Gala with a James Bond (or James Paw) Casino Royale theme at the Four Seasons Westlake Village. Kaley Cuoco and Brad Goreski hosted the event, Katharine McPhee gave a special performance, and A-List animal-loving celebrities graced the red carpet.
The evening included exciting entertainment with a cocktail hour, live music, silent and live auctions, gambling, and after-dinner dancing. In addition, “Pawsitive Awards” were presented to those instrumental in creating positive change in the lives of animals in Southern California and beyond during 2017.
Paw Works, a nonprofit with two storefronts locally, achieved its goal to make Ventura County “No Kill” less than one year after starting the organization—placing over 3,200 abandoned shelter dogs and cats in permanent homes. For more information, visit pawworks.org.
