Leonis Adobe Winter Celebration
The Leonis Adobe Museum hosted their annual “Winter Celebration” on Sunday, December 3. Hundreds of families came out to celebrate the winter holidays and enjoy the festivities where kids had the opportunity to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, take photos, and tell them exactly what they wanted for Christmas! A multitude of holiday arts and crafts booths were set up for the kids to enjoy. In addition, kids were invited to feed the ranch animals, and they enjoyed live interactive music by Craig Newton. The Leonis Adobe, built in 1844, is one of the oldest surviving private residences in Los Angeles County and one of the oldest surviving buildings in the San Fernando Valley. This historical monument and living history museum is located in the heart of Calabasas and is dedicated to restoring, preserving, and sharing California ranch life from the 1880s with visitors throughout the year.
