L.A. designer John Eshaya hosted a fundraiser on April 28 at Jet, his boutique at Village at Westfield Topanga. The private sale raised money for local Calabasas public school Chaparral Elementary. Melissa Alpert, Erica Salisbury, Deborah Shapiro, and Shauna Stoddart co-hosted the event with the designer. Chaparral parents purchased tickets to the private shopping affair, and 100% of the ticket proceeds went back to the school. Parents also received a 20% discount. Shoppers enjoyed wine, delicious food provided by Il Fornaio’s at Village at Westfield Topanga, and custom-made cookies by Vanilla Flour Bakery. Shoppers took their purchases home in custom-designed bags.
