Build a Better World Agoura H.S. Peace Day

On the evening of Friday, September 21, the Build a Better World Foundation hosted a concert and expo at Performing Arts and Education on the Agoura High School campus to celebrate UN International Day of Peace. The proceeds benefitted four education-based organizations featured at the concert. LIDE/Haiti is an organization founded by actor Rainn Wilson and his wife, author Holiday Reinhorn. International Brain Education Association, ReGeneration, and The Choral Tales Project were the other three organizations in receipt of the benefits.

Many young men and women from the community performed, including Capri Corwin, Rieves Bowers, Guys in Ties, and Ava Bowers. Speakers included Mayor Koehler of Agoura Hills and Stephen Barnes. Surprise guest and United Nations Ambassador Robin DiMaggio spoke to attendees on behalf of the United Nations.
