Distinguished Orthodontist Dr. Jason Pair

Creates Beautiful Smiles

According to the American Association of Orthodontics, almost half of the population could benefit from orthodontic treatment. Expert orthodontist Dr. Jason Pair has helped patients correct misaligned teeth and jaws since 1999 at Pair Orthodontics in Calabasas.

“Our mission is to provide the highest-quality orthodontic treatment in a professional yet fun and welcoming family atmosphere,” explains Dr. Pair. Both he and fellow orthodontist Dr. Michael Hoang ensure patients receive the most advanced procedures and equipment available. This includes the state-of-the-art Damon System and Invisalign iTero Element intraoral scanner. Damon braces provide them with the ability to create natural, broader, and healthier smiles in less time and with greater comfort than traditional braces.

The team also offers cosmetically pleasing lingual braces known as Brius. Brius is a revolutionary orthodontic appliance that moves teeth independently, which shortens treatment time, requires fewer visits, and allows for easier cleaning. Since they place them on the back of your teeth facing your tongue instead of in front, they are essentially invisible.

Dr. Pair is also an Invisalign Platinum Plus provider with vast experience to treat a wider variety of cases with Invisalign and Invisalign teen. He designs clear aligners that shift teeth into the preferred position over time. Once teeth reach a certain desired stage, patients simply pop out the old Invisalign aligner and pop in a new set, custom designed for each person. Plus, patients can floss, brush, and eat without worry or restriction, since they’re fully removable.

After joining his father’s dental practice in 1999, this proud Bruin mentored then-UCLA-student Dr. Hoang. After his father, Dr. David Pair, retired a few years ago, Dr. Pair asked his former student to round out the practice. Both are board-certified orthodontists. Dr. Pair is also a member of the prestigious Angle Society of Orthodonticsand currently serves on their board. This dynamic duo continues to mentor future orthodontists as clinical and seminar instructors at UCLA School of Dentistry’s Section of Orthodontics.
