THE Event: Rock the District

THE Event–Rock the District fundraiser for the Las Virgenes Unified School District (LVUSD) took place on June 3 at the Sagebrush Cantina. This annual party featured a silent auction, a live auction, live entertainment, and food and beverage tastings from local restaurants, breweries, and wineries. The atmosphere was light and fun under the California evening sun…and then the stars, and all proceeds went to support LVUSD students. Executive board members Monica Parmar, vice president, and Andrew Wohlwend chaired the event. THE Foundation upholds the ideal that at the heart of a strong community is a healthy and vibrant school district. Its mission is to act as a catalyst between the Las Virgenes Unified School District and parents, residents, and businesses to ensure that they deliver a superior education to students and that the community remains desirable and thriving. All proceeds from THE Event go directly to support this mission.
