THE Event in the Heart of Calabasas 2019

Calabasas was the place to be on Saturday, June 1, as guests gathered at the Calabasas Civic Center for The Event, a sophisticated soiree under the stars, benefitting The Foundation for Las Virgenes Schools. Now in its seventh year, The Event, sponsored by The Agency, Westfield Topanga & The Village, Bob Smith BMW, Brent’s Deli, Calabasas Style magazine, and more, drew residents, business owners, and community leaders for a festive evening of gourmet food and wine tastings, auctions, and entertainment. The city’s charming central courtyard proved the perfect setting for the sold-out, block-party-style celebration. Guests enjoyed tastings from premier local restaurants such as The Six Chow House, Pedalers Fork, Ladyface Alehouse and Brasserie, and Gasolina Cafe while perusing one-of-a-kind silent and live auction items. A beer and wine garden offered refreshing sips from local craft breweries and top wineries, while an exclusive The Agency lounge served as a refined hangout between tastings. The evening, emceed by local actor Jerry O’Connell, culminated with an amazing live concert that had guests dancing all night long.
