Ventura County Animal Services Gala
The 2019 Ventura County Animal Services (VCAS) fundraising gala on Saturday, November 2, at the North Ranch Country Club was a great success in fundraising efforts with over 170 attendees raising an impressive $38,000. Guests enjoyed a fancy red-carpet experience and cocktail hour and participated in both silent and live auctions. Patrick Healy, NBC-4 on-air reporter and animal owner and advocate, served as the emcee for the evening. Director of VCAS, Jackie Rose, delivered the keynote address, sharing success stories and the importance of the shelter staying connected with the community to sustain life-saving efforts.
The VCAS Gala, produced by Everlasting Vegan Events and hosted by Animal Services Foundation of Ventura County, featured an almost exclusively vegan menu. The event was planned with animal welfare in mind, and all auction items were cruelty-free. For more information, visit animalservicesfoundationofventuracounty.org.
