Paw Works 5th Annual Ties & Tails Gala

On March 16, Paw Works hosted its 5^th Annual Ties & Tails Gala: Mardi Paws, at the beautiful Four Seasons Westlake Village. The evening’s Mardi Paws theme created a night to remember with exciting auctions, specialty cocktails, a delicious three-course dinner, and a live show hosted by Paw Works ambassador and master of ceremonies Jai Rodrigues (Queer Eye for the Straight Guy). Trenyce and David Hernandez, both American Idol finalists, gave a rousing musical performance.

“Pawsitive Awards” were presented to those instrumental in creating change in the lives of animals in Southern California and beyond. Presenters included Rachel Lindsay of The Bachelor and Parker Bates of This Is Us. Those awarded included Melanie Scherer, Dr. Singh of Somis Veterinary Hospital, and Larissa Wohl.

Paw Works is the largest animal nonprofit in Ventura County, already placing over 5,000 abandoned shelter dogs and cats in permanent homes. For more information on adopting or supporting their cause, visit pawworks.org.
