Calabasas Earth Day Festival

The City of Calabasas Earth Day Celebration and Green Expo took place on the sunny afternoon of Saturday, April 14 at the gorgeous Las Virgenes Creek. Over 50 exhibitors from all over the Los Angeles and Ventura counties participated in the event, helping attendees take action to save money through efficiency while protecting our planet. The festival also offered numerous children’s activities to teach kids about the environment while having fun. It was an enjoyable and interactive opportunity for Calabasas residents to learn about the many benefits of being “green” and learn new ways of becoming environmentally-friendly.

The Calabasas Earth Day Festival was created to be a day of education, celebration, and action for the natural world in which we live. On April 22, 1970, Earth Day marked the beginning of the modern environmental movement. Calabasas Earth Day/Green Expo sets a clear example for people and businesses to see just how simple lifestyle changes can make a difference.
