Calabasas Community Center Celebrates Grand Re-Opening

An open door is the mission of the newly renovated Calabasas Community Center that re-opened on March 22. Now operated by the City of Calabasas Community Services Department, this 30,000-square-foot recreation facility offers a welcoming atmosphere and a comprehensive array of programs designed for community members to play, gather, and grow.

Recreation classes for every age, including fitness, wellness, arts, and more, are also available. The new 10,000-square-foot gymnasium features all-new wood flooring; offers daily open-play pickleball, basketball, and other sports options; and is ideally suited for recreational sports leagues, tournaments, and clinics. The fitness area includes a weight room with cardio equipment, strength training machines, and free weights as well as smaller rooms for group fitness classes and locker rooms with shower facilities.

The new Calabasas Community Center also boasts meeting rooms and a banquet hall with event furniture, a warming kitchen, and state-of-the-art video walls for community members to host events.
