BBSVC Hosts 12th Annual Bags, Bling, & Bubbly

Big Brothers Bigs Sisters of Ventura County (BBSVC) hosted its 12^th Annual Bags, Bling, and Bubbly champagne luncheon, the most sparkling event of the year, on Wednesday, November 17^th, at Sherwood Country Club in Westlake Village. The stylish afternoon featured an amazing array of new, designer, and vintage handbags, jewelry, accessories, and experiences available for purchase or by auction, and it celebrated the mentorship of its partners and team. Funds raised allow BBSVC to continue serving youth in the community.

Lynne West, CEO of BBSVC, was the surprise honoree this year. Through the countless hours she spent building the organization, Lynne shaped youth mentoring in the BBSVC communities for 34 years. Her tireless work allowed BBSVC to provide crucial, often life-saving opportunities for youth facing adversity in Ventura County. On December 31^st, Lynne retired from her role as CEO.
