On Sunday, June 3, Casa Pacifica hosted the silver anniversary of its Wine, Food, and Brew Festival in style at the beautiful California State University Channel Islands campus in Camarillo. The ever-popular festival has established itself as Ventura County’s premiere Wine & Food event, and their much anticipated 25th anniversary did not disappoint with an unbeatable array of exhibitors offering gourmet food samples, sips of award-winning wines, and local craft brew for the guests to enjoy.
A celebratory cheers on stage that included the festival hosts, Casa Pacifica staff, and longtime volunteers was a high note that was punctuated by silver confetti cannons. The Chainsaw Chicks also delighted the crowd with a live ice carving on stage. Entertainment included an action-packed culinary showdown involving Ventura County’s top restaurants and chefs.
All proceeds benefit Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families, which provide hope and help for abused, neglected, or at-risk children and their families in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.
