Vanderpump Dogs Comfort & Cuddle at Belmont Village

Belmont Village Calabasas and Vanderpump Dogs teamed up for an incredible comfort and cuddle event for seniors on April 11. The heartwarming event gave participants an opportunity to snuggle up to several senior dogs who were available for adoption and also shop at the Vanderpump pop-up. Studies show that seniors reap many life-enhancing rewards by having a four-legged friend by their side. Pets can help lower blood pressure, reduce chances of depression and loneliness, increase mobility and independence, and ease anxiety and pain. Senior animals are gentler and often already trained, making them perfect companions for seniors.

Co-founded by Lisa Vanderpump of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2016, the Vanderpump Dog Foundation is a dog rescue organization that works domestically and internationally to help create a better world for dogs globally. The event was organized by Seniors for Seniors.
