On March 24, over 200 people attended the opening reception of McClendon’s Fine Art Gallery located in Canoga Park Warehouse District. Supermodel Cole Woods wowed the crowd in a “wearable art” wire dress and hat while guests enjoyed light bites, Revel Spirits, and Blum Botanical Elixirs.
The exhibition by husband and wife artists is Time and Linda McClendon: Unforgettable. It consists of Time’s collection of small and large-scale shimmering sculptures that are wrapped and woven with a tarnish resistant silver wire and accented with professional-grade Swarovski crystals. Linda’s work consists of fluid abstracts and realistic mixed-media paintings. Her use of various media captivated the audience with a bold sense of movement and excitement. To add to the intrigue, she encased many of her subjects in plexiglass boxes to magnify the intensity of the shapes and colors.
