B’yachad’s Twilight Tea & More for a Cure

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Michelle Conwisar hosted the B’yachad Group’s “Twilight Tea & More…” fundraiser in support of finding a cure for breast cancer. All proceeds were donated directly to the Institute of Oncology Breast Cancer Research at Hadassah Hospital, reinforcing Hadassah’s commitment to do what it has done for over a century—dedicate itself to medical research without regard to borders, religious affiliation, monetary needs, or artificial political boundaries.

Over 130 women in attendance enjoyed guest speaker Dr. Kristi Funk, a well-known breast cancer surgeon, author, and founder of pinklotus.com. Incredible items were auctioned and a raffle took place to raise money for Hadassah Hospital while guests enjoyed food and drinks donated by Brent’s Deli, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Karma Tequila, and many more. Guests also received a tea cup to paint with all art supplies donated by plaidonline.com.
