9th Annual Calabasas Film Festival
From September 21st to 25th, the Calabasas Film Festival held its 9th annual five-day event. The festival premiered major motion pictures and showcased documentaries, student films, and top-quality film selections from all genres. The highly anticipated festival allowed the community the opportunity to share their incredible passion for film and television while showcasing all the city has to offer in the entertainment industry. Hundreds of avid filmgoers and entertainment personnel attended each evening’s premieres along with lively pre cocktail parties and after parties. Among the fabulous films, opening night boasted Don’t Worry Darling, The Lost King was a second-night highlight, and an outdoor showing of Amerikatsi was also enjoyed. Lead sponsors included The City of Calabasas and AmaWaterways. Student filmmakers concluded the event with short films submitted for achievement awards.
